FEE REMINDER: The Winter Trails event takes place inside Rocky Mountain National Park. An entrance pass is required. The fee for the pass is $20/car (good for one week) and can be purchased at the Park's entrance gate.

Time: 10:00 am -3:00 pm, snowshoe demos need to be returned by 2:30-2:45 pm.

Program:
- Snowshoe hikes, winter safety presentations, and expert advice on fitting and selection of snowshoes.
- Ongoing demonstrations and free use of snowshoes
- Outdoor gear product demonstrations
- Igloo Construction. Igloo Craftsman will be demonstrating the art of constructing an Igloo throughout the day.
- President's Challenge Clinic: Children and Adults who participate in learning stations at this venue can earn a special Certificate of Participation from The President's Council on Physical Fitness and Sports. The learning stations include Snowshoe Basics, How to Dress for Winter Outdoor Activity, Nutrition and Hydration Tips, Basic Condition Exercises and Essentials for Winter Hiking and Camping.
Directions: Estes Park is the eastern gateway community to Rocky Mountain National Park (RMNP) located 70 miles north of Denver, CO. Visitors may travel to Estes Park via US Highways 36 or 34. Both highways may be accessed from Interstate 25. Travelers may use US 36 to access the south entrance to RMNP. Take Bear Lake Road to the event site.
Directions will be given at the entrance station. Activities are free: Entrance fees to the National Park apply.
Parking: Visitors may park at the event site, Park and Ride Lot near Glacier Basin.

Fees: An entrance fee to RMNP applies. Weekly pass ($20/car) or annual ($40) entrance passes may be purchased at the entrance gate of RMNP.
Services: Food and lodging are a 20-minute drive away in the town of Estes Park.
