- Cross Country Skiing -- 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. or 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
- Newcomers to Skiing can come for a group lesson and trails usage for free – Rentals are included, but on a first come – first serve basis.
- Snowshoeing – 10 a.m. to Noon or 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
- Newcomers to Snowshoeing can come for a quick introduction and head out on the trails for a hike in the woods – Rentals are included, but on a first come – first serve basis.

Program: An afternoon celebration of snowshoeing and cross country skiing free for those new to each sport. Smugglers’ Nordic Ski and Snowshoe Adventure Center will provide free rentals and offer short instructional sessions for noon until 4:00 pm for first time snowshoers and cross country skiers. The Smugglers’ Adventure Center offers 34 kilometers of cross-country trails and 24 kilometers of dedicated snowshoe trails.
