BASH Winter Race Festival

BASH is a day full of racing on the snow! We offer everything from a full and sprint distance triathlon (run, mtn bike, nordic ski) to a 5K snowshoe fun run and even a 2.5K sprint skate ski race. It is a very family friendly event, we always get children doing our sprint triathlon. We also offer a couple of free clinics for those people who would like to learn how to nordic ski or mountain bike on snow. A nordic ski clinic on Dec 19th and a run/mtn biking on snow clinic that will take place first week in January.

The entire event takes place on the professionally groomed XC ski trails of the World famous Soldier Hollow (former 2002 Winter Olympic Venue). BASH is a perfect way for people to learn new sports, improve their base fitness and expand their skills as a multi-sport athletes during the winter.

The BASH Full Triathlon is the 2010 USAT Winter Triathlon National Championship race as well as an ITU World Cup Qualifier. We will be having an elite/professional athlete field competing in this event...all racing for a qualifying spot at World's in Oslo, Norway and thier part of a $3000 prize purse. Even with the Championship event, BASH is still mainly a beginner/weekend warrior event that accomodates many experience levels and abilities.
