Winter Trails Month was fantastic with many great events happening around the country.  From our early count, thousands of people new to snow sports were able to try snowshoeing or cross country skiing over  the month.    Most events have happened, but many are still to come.  Winter Trails offers children and adults new to snow sports the chance to try snowshoeing and cross country skiing for free, and to discover the great fitness and social benefits with the these easy-to-learn winter sports. 

New this year, Winter Trails moves from a one day event to a month long celebration of cross country skiing and snowshoeing.

If you are new to winter sports, snowshoeing and cross country skiing are quick to learn and fun for all ages making them perfect for families and groups and they are a great way to get some exercise.  Tell your friends.

Winter Trails Month

Winter Trails - over 100 events around the country!

Winter Trails is a month long celebration with events lasting from one day to month long, where people new to snow sports can try snowshoeing and/or cross country skiing. Simple events and demos are happening  all  January at many locations around the country and will help you discover the great fitness and social benefits of these easy to learn winter sports.

If you already participate, attend one of the Anchor Sites, the larger events, to test different models and brands to help in your buying decision. Find Anchor Sites here.

These events are also great opportunities to bring a friend and introduce them to these activities, creating your next fun partner. Snowshoeing and cross country skiing are always better with family and friends.
